Course SyllabusGrades: Extra CreditStudents can earn up to one story worth of extra credit for collaborating on a project with an outside partner -- either a student or professor from another class or a local news site, including the Daily Tar Heel. The extra credit assignment will be graded on the same 100 point scale as the five mandatory stories and will use the same grading rubric. It order to be eligible, the project must be pre-approved by the instructor. You must have written permission to publish the project on the Newsdesk site, and it may or may not also be published on the partner site. Suggested Partners: Carolina Week & Carolina Connection
