Course SyllabusGrades: 'Lessons Learned' Presentation - 25%Students will need to create a presentation that trains the journalists in our partner publications how to do "Public Affairs Reporting for New Media." These presentations should be 30-60 minutes in length and include hands-on activities for the participants. In addition to making these presentations in person at the partner news organizations, students will need to have some component that can be posted online and serve as an on-demand training module for other journalists. Examples of appropriate online elements would be a video, podcast, PowerPoint presentation, screencast, or printed tip-sheet with links and exercises. |
